 *****Notices/News*****

*****April 8th 2024 NOAA just announced Red Grouper will be closing July 1st 2024!!!!

***** January 2nd 2024 Inshore report. Inshore fishing has been great. Water temps have dropped so the Sheepshead are showing up and Redfish & Trout have been a pretty decent bite as well. Snook can be a little tougher with the water temps but still catching them. A few Pompano around also.

***** January 2nd 2024 offshore report. Offshore bite is also great when the wind isn't blowing and we can get out. Red Grouper is now open after 6 months of being closed and they are hungry. Big Gray Snapper, Lane Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, and Vermillion Snapper have been a steady bite. Kingfish are starting to thin out with the last few cold fronts, Triggerfish, Scamp Grouper, and Spanish Mackerel have been coming over the side as well.  We are brining back plenty of tasty fish for dinner. 8 hr trip recommended for Grouper

***** Reminder Gratuity is not included in the price. 20% is customary and appreciated.

***** Redfish & Snook are catch and release only on my charters to allow our fishery to continue to flourish. Many guides are doing the same thing as we all share the same interest in the fishery here in Southwest Floirda. We can keep a few Trout and possibly some Snapper, Sheepshead, and Pompano we get but thats about it for Inshore.  If your looking for a meat trip then book a offshore trip.

Offshore Fishing Charters

On our Boca Grande offshore fishing charters, we will take up to 5 guests but only 4 will fish at a time. Trips range from 20-60 miles out depending on the length of the trip you choose, so the ride out can range from a 45 min - 2+ hrs (depending on the length of your trip and the sea conditions). We will be bottom fishing, as well as possibly trolling and drifting bait. The Gulf Of Mexico offers a wide variety of fish and structure so, as a result, our offshore fishing charters can send us fishing over rock ledges, reefs, and wrecks. Our target species depending on the trip consist of Snapper (Mangrove, Red, Lane, Vermillion, and Yellowtail) also Grouper (Red, Gag, Black, and Scamp). Additionally, other possible species include Trigger Fish, Cobia, Mahi-Mahi, Barracuda, Porgies and many more. Fish size and species can also be impacted by the distance of your trip, therefore If you have any questions please look at the trip details page which will explain the different trips or contact Capt. Jeff.  Book Today!!!

Boca Grande Nearshore Fishing Charters

Nearshore Fishing Charters

Our Boca Grande nearshore fishing charter we take up to 5 guest but only 4 will fish at a time. This is a trip for the group that wants to experience offshore fishing but wants to stay a little closer in. You will still enjoy the Gulf Of Mexico and catch some fish as well.  On these trips typical catches include Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper,  Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Grunts, and Squirrel fish. In addition, Shark, Bonita, Kingfish, Barracuda, Cobia, Permit and Amberjack are possible catches. Also at this distance please take note as we will not mislead you as some other charters do. This is not considered a true offshore trip where we go far and deep. And you aren't going to catch keeper Grouper or the bigger Snappers on these trips. The fish are smaller the bite is sometimes slower and not all keepers but we normally get a few for dinner and it's always a great time on the water. If you have any questions please look at the trip details page which will explain the different trips or contact Capt. Jeff

Boca Grande Inshore Fishing Charters

Inshore Fishing Charters

Our guided Boca Grande inshore and back country fishing charters allow up to 2 people to fish the shallow protected waters in and around Gasparilla Sound and Charlotte Harbor. Trips for up to 4 guest can be arranged running our bigger boat. Contact Captain Jeff for details on these trips.  We primarily fish the mangrove shorelines and the abundant grass flats of Florida's beautiful southwest coast. Our objective is catching Redfish, Snook, Seatrout, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, and more. On these trips. Artificial baits and lures, as well as live and cut baits, are used depending on the fish bite and your angler skill level. Since we remain in protected waters, these trips also offer plenty of opportunities to experience the beauty of our undeveloped shorelines. As a result, we will encounter an abundance of wildlife that makes these waters home, including egrets, bald eagles, ospreys, dolphins, manatees, and much more. If you have any questions please look at the trip details page which will explain the different trips or contact Capt. Jeff
